Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. QueVeo was designed with a privacy-first approach. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not create user accounts
• We do not request names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personal data
• We do not track your location
• We do not collect usage analytics
• We do not show profile-based advertisements

2. Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on your device and never leaves it:

• Your favorite movies and series
• Your watch history
• Your "Watch Later" list
• Your genre and platform preferences
• Your settings (theme, language, Kids Mode)
• Your chosen nickname and avatar

3. Anonymous Device Identifier

For the library sync and public lists feature, we generate a random unique identifier on your device. This ID is completely anonymous and not linked to your real identity. You can delete this ID and all your data from Settings → Danger Zone → Clear All Data.

4. Public Lists

If you choose to publish a list, the list name and content (movie/series titles) are stored on our servers anonymously, associated only with your device ID. Your chosen nickname will also be visible. You can keep all your lists private if you prefer.

5. Third-Party Services

QueVeo uses data from:

• The Movie Database (TMDB): movie and series information. Requests include your approximate region (country) to personalize results. See their privacy policy at themoviedb.org.
• YouTube (Google): trailer playback. When watching a trailer, Google's Privacy Policy applies.

6. Security

Local data on your device is protected by your operating system's security mechanisms. Communication with our servers uses HTTPS (TLS encryption).

7. Your Rights

• Access all your data (it's on your device)
• Delete all your data at any time from the app
• Opt out of sync or public list features

8. Children's Privacy

QueVeo does not intentionally collect data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us to have it removed.

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be communicated through app updates.

Terms and Conditions of Use

By downloading or using QueVeo, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the application.

1. Service Description

QueVeo is a movie and TV series discovery application. We are not a streaming service; we do not host, stream, or distribute audiovisual content. Trailers are provided by YouTube and are subject to their own terms of use.

Information about movies, series, people, and artwork comes from The Movie Database (TMDB) under their usage license. QueVeo is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of that information.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use QueVeo for personal, non-commercial purposes. Prohibited activities include: reverse engineering the application, attempting unauthorized system access, using the app for illegal purposes, or redistributing app content.

3. Service Availability

QueVeo requires an internet connection for most features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

4. Accounts and Data

QueVeo does not require registration or a user account. Your favorites, history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. For public lists, an anonymous device-generated identifier is used, not linked to your real identity.

5. Content for Minors

Kids Mode automatically filters adult content using TMDB categories. However, we cannot guarantee all displayed content is appropriate for all ages. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use.

6. Intellectual Property

Movie and series metadata is the property of their respective owners. Poster images and trailers belong to their respective studios and platforms. QueVeo acts solely as a discovery intermediary.

7. Limitation of Liability

QueVeo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application, including data loss or service interruptions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be communicated through an app update. Continued use of QueVeo after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved in competent courts.

How to Delete Your Data

QueVeo stores your data locally on your device. To delete all your data and your anonymous server ID:

1. Open QueVeo
2. Go to Settings
3. Find Danger Zone
4. Tap Clear All Data

This removes all your local data (favorites, history, preferences, lists) and your anonymous ID from the server. This action is irreversible.
